It seems that in November 2006 someone remembered that The Equality Act and some Equality Duties were being introduced - so they slapped a reference to Disabled People on the front page. Then they just forgot about us!

There has been long debate amongst Police, Crown Prosecution Service, the Home Office and the Ministry of Justice about "Disability Hate Crime" It's all over the net.

The highly paid Civil Servants seem to be ever so worried about how people report Hate Crime and that it should not be missed.

Well maybe if they took a hint and even listed to a few crips they might get some answers. One thing they can do is stop the Blatant, Public and Institutional Disability Discrimination that has now gone on for over two and a half years and even play catch up with a few Equality Duties and what the Law says THEY have to do!

It's not rocket science after all - and if a few crips can spot the problem perhaps they should be at the table and not all the worthies and high paid public officials who keep missing the Bleeding Obvious!

Perhaps that is what the government means by "Work Related Activity" - Using Disabled People to act as unpaid advisors so that the high paid Civil Servants can get it right - Gratis!
