What Do The UK Government Have Against The Disabled?
The Treasury Spending-Challenge website has been a boil on the backside of George Osborne since it opened.
Hate crime against the disabled, racial minorities, sexuality has been allowed to fester openly on a world wide scale. Legal action and prosecution under the Public Order Act should now follow.
It may be funny to read that someone thinks that all people who have appeared on the Jeremy Kyle show should be tracked down and sterilised. It is not funny when it is stated that all disabled people should be subject to euthanasia. The attacks upon The Disabled and Racial Minorities has been offensive and criminal.
The site states it will only accept submissions in “English”, which is illegal and racist.
The site also fails to provide any way for Disabled People to contribute by other means than The internet. That is Direct Disability Discrimination and has been illegal since 1995.
I get the impression that someone close to George Osborne, and as green as him when it comes to Public Sector Obligations, just pushed forward an agenda and decided that Equality and Access should just be ignored. Spin and image override law and legal obligation.
What is more interesting is to receive comment from those on the inside, which reveals that The Government were warned in advance of the problems to come and just ignored the advice from Government Employees which the tax payer is paying for.
It was laughable when the Treasury phone lines started to attempt to claim that the whole mess was not their’s but owned by The Department For Work and Pensions. Strange But True.
There has been a tsunami of complaint to The Police, Equality and Human Rights Commission and the Information Commissioner. Only after nearly a week did action occur to clean up the sewer and only after watchdogs started to show their teeth.
The term “Enforcement Action” has been linked to the EHRC press office.
Not surprisingly the hasty and late effort to clean up the sewer was more cosmetic than real.
The sudden arrival of 24/7 and draconian moderation was very interesting. And who will be footing the Overtime Bill? Days of no moderation are followed by moderation in seconds – and at 1.30 am when any normal Civil Servant would be tucked up in bed asleep getting ready for the 9 to 5.
There are some bizarre things happening. If you post information on how to provide high level and high quality and free IT services for disabled people it can’t be found.
The following was posted in response to a suggestion no how to cut costs in support to people with Dyslexia.
“When Software is an issue there are a number of options. Vinux Linux – Vinux is a remastered version of the popular Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx distribution optimised for the needs of blind and partially sighted users. http://vinux.org.uk It’s Free – open source – and can even be run from a USB pen! Claims made that costs of adaptations are too high simply show the lack of knowledge needed to Thrive in a modern IT Economy. The discrimination this causes to many Disabled people is a scandal. Time to stop!”

So why when you then searched the site for the term “Vinux” did it report the following;
Now how is it possible for the Computer Server to not know how to find a word? It’s a dumb machine after all.
Is it that the machine is illiterate and can’t read, or has it been told to not allow posts by certain people to be indexed and found?
Perhaps the following may explain why the server suddenly lost then ability to find content in it’s index.
For Government Departments To Comply With The Law & Cut Foreseeable Wastage On Legal Costs

This site has and is promoting Racism, Disability Discrimination and is failing to comply with the Equality Duties wholly owned by the Treasury, and set out in The Treasury Document “Single equality scheme 2009-2011” – tinyurl.com/33pukgy
In particular, the site fails to meet Full legal Obligations under section 5 of that document and failure to comply is subject to Judicial Review and or Dealing with Compliance Notices issued by the Equality And Human Rights Commission.
Given that it was foreseeable and avoidable the risk of wasted public money is unforgivable. Private sector management protocols for Litigation Risk Management do apply and should be applied.
It should also be noted that failure to correctly manage the site has also raised issues under section 5 of The Public Order Act 1986 – tinyurl.com/25b46fn which again were foreseeable, and as such it indicates that the managers of The Spending Challenge have been liaise-faire and unprofessional both with risks to the Public Purse and also to the Rights of those abused.
If the Staff of the treasury are not competent in dealing with such matters, they should be sent out to pasture and more competent people employed to protect the Public Purse for avoidable risk to the Public Purse.
The same applies for all other Government Departments too! Cut the cost of legal Services caused by Incompetence – and cut out the Incompetent and get some better staff.
How the idea could be implemented
For Government Departments To Comply With The Law & Cut Foreseeable Wastage On Legal Costs To Defend The Indefensible

How many other people who have reported matters to the Treasury, The Equality and Human Rights Commission The Police, MPs and even the Information Commissioner have found that their posts can’t be found and even have vanished all together?
The belated arrival of Moderation was of interest, but more that that what is being hidden, kept from view and denied to exist is even more of interest.
George “Orwell” Osborne and his Treasury seem to be most intent on not asking for ideas and opinion, but telling all of us what our opinion should be!
